Primary Responsibility:

Reporting to the Head Adjuster, your primary responsibility is to assemble, bundle, palletize and label finished bags for shipping or storage in inventory.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assembles and wraps bundles of bags
  • Stacks and palletizes bundles in specified quantities and weight
  • Attaches labels and identifying markers
  • Keeping work area clean (housekeeping)
  • May be required to fill in for bag catcher role
  • Keeps track of box inventory and reports when low
  • Follow all Food Safety, product quality and Health and Safety Guidelines as laid out in the Departmental Summary
  • Performs final quality controls procedures
  • Assist in all work that needs to be completed

Must Haves / Duties:

  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • Strong math skills
  • Excellent English communication skills, grade 12 or equivalent
  • Ability to complete required paperwork accurately to include quality and production reports
  • Physically able to perform all aspects of the job; be on your feet entire shift, bending, reaching, walking, lifting up to 50lbs
  • Flexible as shift work is required

  • Manufacturing and production plant
  • Breaks are 2 X 10 min paid breaks and 1 X 30 min unpaid. Breaks to be determined by Supervisor

All candidates must be able to communicate effectively in English and be available for an in person interview during normal working hours. All candidates must be able to perform this physically demanding role and be available for shift work.  All candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada for any employer.
